Starting tomorrow 3/21, Japan will have their own special calisthenics park that will be the main location of future calisthenics events in Japan in my opinion. Located in Osaka, Neyakawa park will help spread calisthenics in Japan. It also signals a change in Japanese culture as well. Public parks in Japan always have slides and other types of equipment targeted towards children since Japanese people think of the park as a playground for kids.

This park is fully equipped with pull up bars and a set of parallel bars back to back which I have only seen in Europe. These bars are often used for maltese during competitions.

Neyakawa park also has an area for ground work such as planche and planche push ups located at the front of the park in grey. During calisthenics competitions, many people like to end their sets with ground work which is why they created this special area.
