Good question. I used to want to become a general manager of an electronics company like Sony but for the past year I’ve been studying stocks everyday.
After living in Japan for almost 4 years now, I realized how slow it is to get a promotion. They don’t reward you by your level of skill but rather they reward you based on how long you’ve worked at their company. As someone who is not from Japan I’ve already started later than others.
To answer your question, my dream job is to become a day trader while doing photography on the side. I’ve realized that I enjoy watching numbers and graphs. Most importantly, I enjoy the freedom that it gives and the immediate reward based on skill.
