I am currently hooked on this game and I highly recommend it to those who enjoy learning about Japanese culture especially Japanese horror stories. As someone who enjoys horror movies and Japanese culture, I just had to get this game called Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Shiba Dog & Jizo

My Japanese wife actually knows a lot of characters and items that used in this game. Including Demons/Spirits like “Nurikabe”, “Kasakozou”, “Ittanmomen”, “Tengu”, “Kappa”, “Toire No Hanako San”, “Kuchisakionna”, “Rokurokubi”and more. They have Shiba dogs that you can pet and feed and temples that you can explore and pray in. You can even do omikuji at these temples which is a like fortune slip and you can get lucky or unlucky. Almost all of the spirits and food can be found in real Japanese culture.

ぬりかべ Nurikabe
Moving spirit wall that blocks doors

河童 Kappa
Spirit that lives in the river that likes cucumber. Takes the spirits of children.
